Ten. Rolls-Royce Door Umbrella
We’re not sure how ridiculous this car design feature is when it’s placed on an ultra-expensive Rolls-Royce. If this were built into a Kia Rio, we might be a little confused.
9. Dodge Ram Daytona’s Wing
The Dodge Ram Daytona wing is fairly massive, especially for a pickup truck. I’m not sure what types of spectacle requests this pickup might need a wing for, but it looks pretty cool and pays homage to classic Daytonas.
8. Porsche’s Leather A/C Vents
Okay Porsche, let’s get real here. How necessary are leather air conditioning vents? Why make leather air conditioning vents and have the little adjuster made of plastic?
7. Volkswagen Beetle Dashboard Vase
We get it. This is just adorable. It adds a kittle of personality to the otherwise dreadful interior. Still tho’, a vase with a flower in it inwards the cabin seems kind of… messy.
6. Headlight Emblems
Yes! Headlight emblems are fantastic. What’s wrong with adding a little spice to an otherwise plain looking chrome cone. You can find these in the fresh Jeep Renegade and a few other models.
Five. Mercedes’ Fake Harass Tips
Fake harass tips are a bit painful, especially when they are very obviously fake. They look cool, but knowing they are bogus truly kills the allure.
Four. Plastic Covered Engine Bays
They make your car look a little more approachable and clean, but adding an extra step in maintenance and hiding some beautiful engineering is a little heart-breaking.
Trio. Fake Air Scoops
Fake air scoops are about as awesome as an ice juices cone with fake ice fluid scoops. None of those shenanigans, please.
Two. Door Projector Lights
Is that the bat signal? Nope! Those are lights on the bottom of your door that project onto the floor. Some say they’re pompous, others think they’re awesome.
1. ‘Landau’ Tops
No. Just no. These should never exist. You’ve very likely never met anyone who likes these fake tops. Extra maintenance and an eyesore.
