eleven a.m. – film screening “Brest Fortress”, two thousand ten (school cinema);

1:15 p.m. – film screening “Seat next to me, Mikhail”, one thousand nine hundred seventy seven (school cinema).

Achnasheen – 9:30 a.m. – Four:30 p.m. exhibition dedicated to WWII in Russian Arctic Convoy Exhibition Centre.

Free exhibition of wartime posters (Mission of Rossotrudnichestvo, one floor, thirty seven Kensington High St, Kensington, London W8 5ED), until May 16.

Ten:45 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. flowers will be laid at the Soviet War Memorial near the Imperial War Museum in London.

Five:30 p.m. – Concert, dedicated to Victory Day (Under the Bridgе club, Stamford Stadium, Chelsea, London), .

The Immortal Regiment marches

“Immortal Regiment” is a rally of remembrance: people carry photos of their family members who fought in WWII. All British friends whose ancestors fought in the War are welcome to join this regiment of peace and gratitude.

– Cardiff – nine May at Five:30 p.m. (Сity Hall, Gorsedd Gardens Rd, Cardiff CF10 3ND).

– Manchester – seven May at two p.m. (Manchester Cenotaph, Princess Str., M2 4EG, Manchester Tower Hall).

– Derby – seven May at eleven a.m. (Derby War Memorial, 8A Market Pl, Derby DE1 3QE).

– Mansfield – seven May at three p.m. – 7p.m., (Broxtow Drive, NG18 2JE). The rally is followed with a concert, dedicated to Victory Day (free entrance).

Two May (Tuesday) representatives of the Defence Linké`s office of the Embassy will lay flowers to the graves of Soviet servicemen in Leeds,Huddersfield, Harrogate.

Trio May (Wednesday) representatives of the Defence Fastené`s office of the Embassy will lay flowers to the graves of Soviet servicemen in Manchester.

Four May (Thursday) representatives of the Defence Linké`s office of the Embassy will lay flowers to the graves of Soviet servicemen in Shaftesbury, Aldershot, Tidworth.

4-5 May representatives of the Defence Linké`s office of the Embassy will lay flowers to the graves of Soviet servicemen in Hartlepool and York.

7-8 May representatives of the Defence Linké`s office of the Embassy will lay flowers to the graves of Soviet servicemen in Liverpool and Chester.

9 May representatives of the Defence Fastené`s office of the Embassy will lay flowers to the graves of Soviet servicemen in Jersey (Gimp Workers Memorial (Westmount Memorial).
