A 40-year-old man is in the Montgomery County Jail accused in the shooting that left a man dead and a 2nd man wounded, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff`s Office.
Demetrius Williams, 40, is booked on preliminary charges of felonious brunt and having weapons under disability, according to jail records. The sheriff`s office said the investigation into Williams is still ongoing, so it`s not clear whether murder charges will be approved.
Pierre Jackson, 20, of Cincinnati, was shot a killed and a 2nd victim, only identified by deputies as a 38-year-old man from Cincinnati, was transported to a local hospital and is listed in stable condition, according to investigators.
Plush Gentlemen`s Club security guards reportedly detained a shooting suspect until police arrived.
A security guard who called nine hundred eleven said two people were shot, one of which appeared to be dead. The security guard said the shooter was in handcuffs.
Deputies have not commented. We are working to learn more.

The club`s proprietor told News Center 7`s Lauren Clark two people were shot in a drive-by shooting. He said the victims were refused entry into the club and had been involved in an quarrel at another bar.
We are waiting to confirm his reports with police.
The fatal victim has not been identified. There is a sheet over a figure in a grassy area outside of Plush Gentlemen`s Club, two thousand two hundred thirteen Wagner Ford Road. The shooting was reported just after three a.m.

While medical marijuana cultivators await licensing approval from the state, village leaders in Yellow Springs have determined to spend money on an infrastructure report for their proposed site.
Village Council recently voted unanimously to spend $48,000 on an infrastructure engineering probe to be finished by Heintz Engineering at the so-called CBE site, vacant land along East Enon and Dayton-Yellow Springs roads that is slated for economic development.
Cresco Labs LLC, an Illinois-based medical marijuana company, has a purchase agreement with the village to build a facility on eight acres at the site. The purchase agreement is contingent on the state granting Cresco Labs a license to grown marijuana in Ohio.
«While Cresco Labs will be paying for the infrastructure, because the village will need to obtain EPA permits for water and sewer … the village must pay for the engineering studies needed to build the road,» Village Manager Patti Bates told council members before their vote.
Bates said Cresco has agreed to build the road on the site, and not just for their facility, but the road requirements for the entire site, which includes having two entrances.
Councilwoman Karen Wintrow said facilities that ultimately get licensed by the state will be required to be operational by September 2018, and if construction will not begin until licensing is awarded, the design and permitting work can be done ahead of time.
If Cresco Labs is denied a license to cultivate marijuana in the state, then their purchase agreement with the village would fall through, but the village would receive a $20,000 option fee, which would help offset the engineering report`s costs.
The state resumes to review applications from one hundred eighty five companies looking to cultivate marijuana in Ohio, said Stephanie Gostomski, assistant director of communications at the Ohio Department of Commerce.

The Clark County Sheriff`s Office will release body-camera footage, radio traffic and other documents related to Monday`s officer-involved shooting.
The records will be made available today after this news organization submitted a public records request.
Fresh Carlisle News staff photographer Andy Grimm was shot by Clark County Sheriff`s deputy Jake Shaw in the incident Monday night.
Grimm has been released from the hospital. Shaw is on administrative leave.
Andrew Grimm, the shooting victim, has been released from the hospital, he told WHIO TV.
He said he was discharged about Two:30 p.m. and is feeling sore.
The Clark County deputing involved in the shooting has been identified as Jake Shaw, the Clark County Sheriff`s Office said in a release Tuesday afternoon.
The incident occurred when Shaw initiated a traffic stop Monday night. During traffic stop, a man later identified as Andrew Grimm arrived on the scene and was injured after being shot, the release said.
Shaw has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of that investigation and will attend critical incident debriefing, according to the press release.
The Clark County Sheriff’s Office has asked the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigations to head up the investigation into the shooting, officials said Tuesday.
Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine said the objective is to avoid the appearance of a conflict of interest. It`s not unusual for the AG’s office to head up an investigation surrounding an officer-involved shooting, DeWine said, noting that this will be regular investigation.
Any internal affairs investigation would obviously be treated by Clark County Sheriff’s Office, he said.
DeWine also confirmed that a photographer with Fresh Carlisle News shot while he was out taking pictures, as this news organization has reported. However, the attorney general wouldn’t go into details of the case because he said key interviews have yet to be conducted.
He said it would be up to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office to release the name of the deputy involved, and to confirm that deputy’s employment status, DeWine said, adding that the investigation will be carried out in an impartial way.

The Fresh Carlisle News is reporting that its staff photographer Andy Grimm was shot when a deputy mistook his camera for a weapon. His father, Dale Grimm, is the publisher of the newspaper.
“I talked with Andy a little while ago,” the Fresh Carlisle News posted on its site. “He said he is very sore but otherwise is doing fine. He said they expect to be releasing him sometime tomorrow. On behalf of our entire family, we thank you for all of the kind messages.”
Dale Grimm declined to comment.
The post also asks people not to “mean mouth” the deputy who shot Andy Grimm.
“Andy said he doesn’t want (him) to lose his job over this,” the post says.
Clark County Sheriff Deb Burchett also took to Facebook in the aftermath of the shooting.
«As sheriff of this county, I would truly appreciate if the community would just send prayers for Andy Grimm and my deputy,» she says on Facebook.
State Rep. Kyle Koehler, R-Springfield, reiterated Grimm`s wishes in a Facebook post of his own.
«Let`s support Andy with our prayers and by doing what he asks by not tearing down law enforcement,» Koehler’s post says.

Clark County deputies were dispatched to the four hundred block of North Main Street in Fresh Carlisle around 9:50 p.m. The officer-involved shooting happened shortly after.
The Fresh Carlisle News is reporting that Andy Grimm, a photographer for the News, was working on taking lightning pictures when a deputy performed a traffic stop nearby. Grimm was holding his camera and tripod and the deputy is believed to have mistaken them for a weapon, the News is reporting.
Grimm was shot in the side and is undergoing surgery at Miami Valley Hospital, according to the News.
The Fresh Carlisle News had posted a paragraph of information to its Facebook page earlier in the evening where they stated Grimm had been pulled over on a traffic stop when the shooting occurred, but said later he was not involved in the stop.
Officials on scene did not comment. Ohio BCI is now in charge of the investigation and any statement will be coming from state Attorney General Mike DeWine’s office, Clark County sheriff`s officials said.
