Hertz reports twenty four layoffs, including nineteen at headquarters in Estero

Hertz has eliminated two dozen positions, mostly at its headquarters in Estero.

On Thursday, the rental car giant trimmed twenty four jobs, nineteen of which were based at its fresh global offices off Williams Road.

“As with any large business, we make ongoing switches regarding staffing,” Hertz spokeswoman Karen Drake said in an email. “In the normal course of business, we hire for positions that have request, while shifting positions in others.”
