Four Dead in Three-Vehicle Collision
LAREDO, Texas (KGNS) – UPDATE: The Texas Department of Public Safety has released the names of the victims involved in Tuesday morning’s vehicle accident on Highway 359.

The victims were identified as Maria Buentello Cremar, 93, a resident of Hebbronville. Maximo Cremar, Jr., 74, and Oralia Morin Cremar, 66, as residents of San Antonio. Norberto Torres Sanchez, 46, a Laredo resident.
All four were pronounced dead at the scene.
The initial investigation report says the driver of a tractor-trailer collided into the back of a pickup turning northbound on a driveway.
The truck went into the westbound lane, and was struck by another car on its passenger side.
The driver of the tractor-trailer was transported to Laredo Medical Center for his injuries.
Texas DPS troopers are still investigating the case at this time.

According to the Texas Department of Transportation, the eastbound and westbound lanes of Highway three hundred fifty nine are downright closed approximately nine miles east of Laredo due to a tractor-trailer jackknife incident.
Highway three hundred fifty nine westbound traffic is being detoured thru FM two thousand eight hundred ninety five to U.S. Highway fifty nine and vice versa for Highway three hundred fifty nine eastbound traffic.
This road closure will proceed for approximately 2-3 hours.

The Webb County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle accident on Highway three hundred fifty nine early Tuesday morning.
The accident happened at approximately 7:00 am near the Webb County Youth Village, located eight miles east of Laredo city boundaries.
Upon arrival, it was discovered four people died in the three-vehicle collision. The accident involved one pickup truck, one car and a tractor-trailer.
Travelers are being notified that roads might not be cleared until Tuesday afternoon, and they are advised that alternate routes have been designated.
The flow of traffic is being diverted from Highway three hundred fifty nine to FM two thousand eight hundred ninety five and back to Highway 359.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is treating the investigation with assistance from the Webb County Sheriff’s Office.
